In a meeting in Helsinki, Finland and Morocco engaged in discussions about enhancing economic cooperation across various sectors. The two countries emphasized the importance of digitalization, particularly in cybersecurity and 5G networks. Finland's expertise in water technologies and smart solutions was highlighted as being beneficial to Morocco. Both nations expressed interest in further exploring common interests and opportunities, with a specific emphasis on supporting the green transition, including collaboration in green hydrogen. Additionally, potential cooperation in the health sector was mentioned due to Morocco's ongoing reforms. Plans were made to integrate economic and trade components into their regular political consultations and to organize an economic forum in 2025 to commemorate 65 years of diplomatic relations between Finland and Morocco.
