GAIL (India) has partnered with Accelera, the zero-emissions division of Cummins, during India Energy Week 2025 in New Delhi to collaborate on clean energy and energy transition technologies. The partnership aims to further the development and adoption of clean energy solutions in the country. This collaboration will explore opportunities in hydrogen production, blending, transportation, and storage. GAIL's revised 'net zero' target for 2035 aligns with this partnership, which will utilize Cummins Inc.'s portfolio of advanced powertrains, electric systems, fuel cells, and hydrogen production technologies. GAIL has already commissioned a 10 MW green hydrogen unit in Madhya Pradesh and operates a CBG plant in Ranchi. Expansion plans include more CBG plants and partnerships for synthetic natural gas production and ethanol plants. These initiatives reflect GAIL's dedication to renewable energy solutions and driving a clean energy revolution in India.
