Foton, a subsidiary of BAIC Group in China, is renowned for its new energy technologies, including hydrogen fuel cells, which align with the global strategy of the company. The partnership intends to leverage Iveco's sales channels for the commercialization of an electric panel van in Europe and South America within the GVW 3.5-ton category. This partnership signifies a step towards future synergies between the two companies, potentially leading to localisation activities in the mentioned regions and exploring supply opportunities through FPT Industrial.
