During the 2025 Hyvolution hydrogen fuel international exhibition in Paris, the Taiwan Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Partnership sealed agreements with institutions from Denmark, France, Poland, and Ukraine. These memoranda of understandings are strategic initiatives to propel Taiwan's hydrogen and fuel cell industry forward by fostering research and development throughout the integrated supply chain. The partnerships also aim to streamline the application process for international projects and encourage the exchange of knowledge and expertise between Taiwan and its partnering countries. Deputy director Lin Ruo-zhen of the Institute of Economic Research's Research Division highlighted Taiwan's leading role in hydrogen fuel cell development, emphasizing that more than 90% of critical components are produced domestically. This signifies Taiwan's strong position in the global hydrogen market and sets the stage for further collaboration and innovation in the field.
