Clean Hydrogen Works (CHW) has appointed Mr. Olivier Saulnier and Mr. Marc van Doorn, seasoned executives from the fertilizer and ammonia industry, to spearhead sales, marketing, and business development activities in Europe. The appointments are expected to drive the successful final investment decision (FID) of the Ascension Clean Energy (ACE) project in Louisiana, CHW's flagship facility. Initially set to produce 2.4 MTPA of clean ammonia, the ACE project aims for further expansion to 7.2 MTPA in subsequent phases. CHW's strategic alliances with industry giants like ExxonMobil, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, and Hafnia underscore its commitment to providing low-cost, low-carbon energy solutions to address the global demand for sustainable energy. With regulatory approvals on the horizon, advanced discussions on off-take agreements, and key partnerships in place, the ACE project is on track to achieve FID by late 2025 and commence production in 2029. This initiative not only emphasizes CHW's dedication to reducing greenhouse gas emissions but also highlights its pivotal role in promoting the adoption of clean ammonia in Europe, marking a significant step towards a more sustainable energy landscape.
