Boomtown Fair, a 65,999-capacity event in the UK, is set to include a new stage named 'HYDRO' powered entirely by hydrogen fuel cell generators. Partnering with Hydrologiq, the festival aims to reduce supply chain CO2e emissions and on-site pollution. The innovative stage will emit only water vapor, promoting clean and emission-free electricity. This initiative follows Scotland's HebCelt Festival, previously powered by locally produced green hydrogen. Co-founder Luke Mitchell emphasizes the need for creative solutions to drive the shift towards a net-zero future. Hydrologiq's co-founder, Benjamin Lindley, praises Boomtown's commitment to sustainability and highlights the environmental advantages of hydrogen energy. By utilizing HydrologiqOS to manage the hydrogen installation, Boomtown aims to showcase the feasibility of replacing diesel with hydrogen, ultimately saving carbon emissions.
