INOX Air Products, India's leading industrial, electronic, and medical gases manufacturer, has announced the commissioning of India's first green hydrogen manufacturing plant at Asahi India Glass Limited's (AIS) greenfield float glass facility in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. The plant, with a capacity to generate up to 190 tons of green hydrogen annually through solar-powered electrolysis, will supply AIS for 20 years, aiming to reduce CO2 emissions by 1250 tonnes per year. This collaboration highlights a significant move towards sustainability and decarbonization in India's industrial sector.
