IVECO has delivered two heavy-duty IVECO S-eWay hydrogen fuel cell trucks to BMW as part of the H2Haul project, co-financed by the Clean Hydrogen Partnership. This initiative aims to demonstrate the reliability of hydrogen-powered trucks for zero-emission transport in Europe through field tests. The trucks have impressive features like an 800 km range, quick refueling time, and capacity for 70 kg of compressed H2. The event in Leipzig showcased BMW's holistic use of hydrogen and marked the opening of two hydrogen refueling stations, signifying progress in establishing the necessary infrastructure for hydrogen logistics. The collaboration between IVECO, BMW, and others highlights the commitment to decarbonizing logistics and accelerating the adoption of hydrogen-powered mobility for demanding missions.
