Airbus UpNext, a subsidiary of Airbus, has unveiled a new technological demonstrator called Cryoprop in Paris, showcasing the potential of superconducting technologies for future hydrogen-powered aircraft. This two megawatt-class superconducting electric propulsion system, cooled by liquid hydrogen using a helium recirculation loop, is developed by Airbus teams in France and Germany.
