NextChem, a company of Italy's Maire SpA, has secured a contract for a new hydrogen unit in Vietnam through its subsidiary KT Tech. The project, part of the Dung Quat Refinery upgrading and expansion in Vietnam, will see the design of a hydrogen production unit with a capacity of 22,676 cubic meters per hour. This unit will utilize proprietary technology from NX Reform to enable cost-effective hydrogen production while incorporating CO2 capture technology to reduce the carbon footprint.
