The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has selected the North Central Texas Council of Governments and Dallas Independent School District to receive a combined total of $62,184,164 to assist in the purchase of 244 zero-emission vehicles through the Clean Heavy-Duty Vehicles Grant Program. This initiative, supported by President Biden, aims to accelerate American leadership in clean technologies to combat climate change. The projects announced will slash air pollution, improve infrastructure for cleaner transportation solutions, and create jobs.
