Iveco Bus is set to provide the city of Cannes with 12 cutting-edge Heuliez GX 337 H2 LINIUM hydrogen buses, enriching the public transportation network with sustainable and zero-emission technology. These new buses will join the existing fleet of 35 electric buses operated by the Cannes Lérins Urban Community, showcasing a commitment to environmentally friendly transport solutions. By introducing hydrogen technology in 2025 with the establishment of a production station, Cannes aims to further reduce emissions and enhance its sustainable transport infrastructure. The GX 337 H2 LINIUM buses are equipped with a 100kW fuel cell, hydrogen tanks, and a 69kWh battery, enabling a range of up to 450km while achieving a significant reduction in hydrogen consumption compared to industry standards. With features like excellent thermal comfort and a capacity to accommodate up to 110 passengers, these buses represent a step forward in sustainable urban mobility. The decision to select Iveco Bus for this project underscores their leadership in providing innovative zero-emission mobility solutions, particularly in the realm of hydrogen technology.
