In a landmark achievement, Volgren secured a 165-unit order for rail replacement buses, leading to the creation of new jobs and increased production capacity. At the National Bus and Coach Show in Brisbane, Volgren unveiled four new models, including an Optimus electric bus, a Marcopolo midi-coach, and its first hydrogen product on a Wrightbus Hydroliner chassis. The company's partnership with Yutong resulted in the launch of the Volgren Optimus electric bus on Yutong's electric E12 chassis, offering a lightweight, low-floor electric model with industry-leading energy efficiency. This collaboration aims to bring advanced bus technology to the Australian market, showcasing Volgren's commitment to innovation and sustainability.
