Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) welcomed a significant delegation from the Dominican Republic, led by Vice Minister of Energy Rafael Orlando Gómez Del Giudice. The visit aimed at introducing the delegation to DEWA's sustainability projects and initiatives in clean and renewable energy. DEWA, a global leader in utility services, showcased its outstanding performance in various key performance indicators (KPIs) in the energy and water sectors, setting unprecedented global standards. HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, emphasized the utility's commitment to sharing successful practices for a greener future. The delegation visited DEWA's Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, the world's largest single-site solar park, and the pioneering Green Hydrogen Project powered by solar energy. They also explored DEWA's Innovation Centre, highlighting advancements in renewable energy technologies. Impressed by DEWA's projects, the delegation commended the utility's role in advancing sustainable practices globally.
