Linde Group Expands Liquid Hydrogen Refueling Station Technologies in China and Europe
Key Ideas
  • Linde FuelTech, a subsidiary of Linde Group, partners with GUOFUHEE in China to deploy liquid hydrogen refueling stations.
  • Linde FuelTech and Daimler Truck introduce subcooled liquid hydrogen refueling technology in Europe for a comprehensive hydrogen infrastructure.
  • The first public sLH2 fuel station is operational in Wörth am Rhein, Germany, marking a milestone in hydrogen infrastructure development.
  • The collaboration aims to advance hydrogen technology adoption and infrastructure establishment globally, enhancing sustainable transportation solutions.
In December 2024, Linde Hydrogen FuelTech Gmbh (Linde FuelTech) signed an agreement with Jiangsu Guofu Hydrogen Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. (GUOFUHEE) to bring Linde's liquid hydrogen refueling station technologies to China. This collaboration seeks to contribute to the development of hydrogen infrastructure in Chinese markets. Additionally, Linde FuelTech, in partnership with Daimler Truck, has been working on subcooled liquid hydrogen refueling technology (sLH2) to establish a robust hydrogen infrastructure not only in Europe but also globally. The first sLH2 fuel station, a significant achievement in hydrogen technology, was inaugurated in Wörth am Rhein, Germany. This milestone highlights the commitment to advancing sustainable transportation solutions through cutting-edge hydrogen technology. The collaboration between Linde FuelTech and GUOFUHEE signifies a step towards promoting hydrogen infrastructure development in China, while the expansion of sLH2 technology in Europe demonstrates a concerted effort to build a comprehensive hydrogen network for efficient and eco-friendly mobility solutions on a global scale.
