Air Liquide has been granted 110 million euros by the European Innovation Fund for its ENHANCE project in Antwerp-Bruges, Belgium. The project aims to produce and distribute low-carbon and renewable hydrogen from ammonia, utilizing innovative technologies. By retrofitting a hydrogen production unit to use renewable ammonia and constructing a hydrogen liquefier, Air Liquide plans to create a large-scale renewable ammonia cracking plant.
