This feature is immediately available for BMWs equipped with BMW Operating System 8, 8.5, and 9, with plans to extend it to BMW Operating System 7 soon. Over 500,000 BMW owners in Germany can now use their in-car systems to settle fuel bills at participating gas stations such as Aral, Esso, and Q1. The 'Fuel Payments' app integrated into BMW's digital ecosystem allows drivers to easily locate and pay at nearby gas stations by selecting the 'Find Gas Station' option on the central display. BMW Maps enhances this experience by enabling online payment options during route planning. At the station, drivers are guided through selecting the pump and confirming the transaction on the central display screen, receiving notifications on-screen and via the My BMW App. In a step towards innovative fuel solutions, BMW iX5 Hydrogen users can now pay for hydrogen refueling directly from their vehicles at H2 MOBILITY Deutschland stations. This service is supported at most locations in Germany. BMW has also expanded its digital payment services to cover parking fees in various European countries, including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy. Users with compatible BMW Operating Systems can easily pay for parking through their vehicles, with minute-by-minute billing available in some zones. The My BMW App allows users to manage parking history and payment methods, ensuring a seamless parking experience across Europe.
