Hygreen Energy, a global electrolyzer manufacturer and hydrogen technology developer, is increasing its presence in Europe with plans to establish an electrolyzer manufacturing facility, launch an R&D program, and construct green hydrogen production plants in Spain. The new electrolyzer production factory in Malaga will initially focus on producing 5-Megawatt electrolyzers that meet European compliance standards, with a production capacity of up to 5GW. Additionally, an R&D program will be initiated to advance electrolyzer technologies, and green hydrogen generation projects with strategic partners are planned in Huelva, Spain, with a capacity of 1.12 GW and a capital infusion exceeding 2 billion Euros. Spain aims to achieve 11 GW in electrolyzer capacity by 2030, with Andalusia positioning itself as a key player in green hydrogen due to its abundant renewable energy sources. Hygreen Energy's CEO, Benny Wang, highlighted the growth opportunities these initiatives bring to Europe, emphasizing the tailored electrolyzer solutions for the European market. The company's expansion aims to cater to the increasing demand for green hydrogen solutions in Europe while supporting the clean energy transition.
