Masdar, a clean energy powerhouse in the UAE, has strengthened its partnerships with Norwegian companies through several agreements signed during the official visit of Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince to Norway. These collaborations focus on clean energy solutions and sustainable development. Notably, Masdar's partnership with Equinor resulted in the development of the world’s first offshore floating wind farm, Hywind Scotland. The recent agreements with Equinor, ICP Infrastructure, Aker Horizons, and Yara aim to explore green hydrogen initiatives and investment opportunities in Europe, including the Nordics. Masdar's CEO highlighted the success of these partnerships rooted in the strong UAE-Norway bilateral relationship and shared legacy in clean energy projects. Masdar's ambitious goals include reaching a renewable energy portfolio of 100 GW by 2030 and becoming a leading producer of green hydrogen, aligning with global energy transition objectives.
