Provaris, Uniper, and Norwegian Hydrogen have signed a conditional Term Sheet for hydrogen supply, transport, and offtake. This agreement sets the foundation for negotiating a binding Hydrogen Sale and Purchase Agreement (Hydrogen SPA) by June 2025. The deal entails an annual volume of 42,500 tonnes of RFNBO1-certified hydrogen to be delivered as compressed hydrogen using Provaris’ H2Neo carriers, with Uniper as the buyer at an agreed fixed price. The deliveries are planned to commence in early 2029 to the receiving terminal in North-Western Europe, marking a significant milestone in Europe's regional hydrogen marine transport project. Provaris' innovative approach to hydrogen supply and transport is expected to aid in meeting Europe's 2030 decarbonisation targets by offering a standardized and flexible solution.
