On November 15, Mobility & Innovation Production (MIP) revealed the first Slovak hydrogen truck at Slovakia Ring in Orechová Potôň, western Slovakia. The truck, built on the Ford F-Max platform, boasts four hydrogen tanks providing a range of up to 750 km per top-up. The vehicle, powered by a 540-kW electric engine, has successfully passed homologation tests for the European market. MIP's managing director, Pavel Čulík, emphasized the achievement as a result of teamwork, courage, and innovation. The State Secretary of the Economy Ministry, Szabolcs Hodosy, praised the truck's development and highlighted Slovakia's potential in the field of sustainable technologies. MIP, a Slovak startup, focuses on emission-free propulsion systems development, with a track record including the launch of a hydrogen city bus in 2022.
