The Australia-India Strategic Research Fund (AISRF) recently granted funding to five Indian organizations for projects in emerging technologies under the Australia-India Strategic Research Fund (AISRF). The projects spanned diverse fields such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning, biotechnology, urban mining and electronic waste recycling, ultra low-cost solar, and clean hydrogen technologies. The recipients of the grants included Punjab Remote Sensing Centre in Ludhiana, IIT-Delhi, IIT-Bombay, IISc Bangalore, and AbGenics Life Sciences Pvt Ltd in Pune. These projects were chosen through a rigorous evaluation process to ensure scientific excellence and potential for significant impact.
