Avaada Group and Casale have announced a strategic partnership to establish India’s largest green ammonia plant in Gopalpur, Odisha. This cutting-edge facility, with a production capacity of 1,500 tonnes per day, will be a crucial milestone in India's journey towards a cleaner and greener future. The plant is set to exclusively rely on renewable energy sources, aligning with India's ambitious Net Zero commitments and promoting a shift from traditional fossil fuel-based ammonia production to more sustainable alternatives. The partnership entails Casale providing the Green Ammonia Process License, Basic Engineering Package, and essential equipment to ensure an efficient and carbon-neutral production process. Vineet Mittal, Chairman of Avaada, underlined the plant's role in fostering innovation and promoting energy independence within India.
