The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) is conducting a weeklong One Week One Theme (OWOT) program across its 37 laboratories, with a special focus on 'Energy and Energy Devices (EED)' in New Delhi from 24-28 June, 2024. CSIR-NPL is hosting a two-day event under this program, showcasing achievements in areas like Photovoltaic Metrology, Flexible solar cells, Energy gas including hydrogen, and Bio-coal from agricultural waste. Dr. S.R. Dhakate highlighted the importance of renewable energy, specifically mentioning solar, biomass, and hydrogen's role in combating global warming. The event aimed to promote green energy solutions and encourage collaborations between industry and research institutions.
