Group Surya, under Surya International Private Limited, has won a prestigious EPC contract for a 200 kW Solar-Hydrogen BESS-Based Microgrid in Chushul, Ladakh. The project, valued at ₹102 crore and awarded by NTPC REL, in collaboration with the Indian Army, aims to provide continuous clean energy to an off-grid defense location. Operating at 4,400 meters altitude and with temperatures as low as -30°C, this microgrid is designed to perform under extreme conditions, reducing carbon emissions by 1,500 tons annually and enhancing India's clean energy objectives.
