The India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA) is set to present a white paper at the India Energy Storage Week (IESW) 2024 in New Delhi, addressing crucial policy and regulatory obstacles in the realms of electric vehicles (EVs), cleantech, green hydrogen, and battery storage. The initiative aims to accelerate India's transition towards a sustainable future powered by renewables. The white paper will be unveiled during the international conference and expo, with participation expected from over 200 global energy leaders from 50 countries along with representatives from seven Union ministries. Rahul Walawalkar, President of IESA, highlighted the importance of immediate actions to realize the green energy transition vision in collaboration with the Modi 3.0 government. IESW 2024 seeks to bridge the gap between industry stakeholders and government bodies, advocating for the advancement of EVs, cleantech, green hydrogen, and battery storage in India. Notable attendees include New & Renewable Energy Secretary Bhupinder Singh Bhalla, who will lead discussions on energy storage for grid modernization and achieving India's renewable energy targets. The event will feature insights from government officials on energy storage policies and initiatives to bolster adoption in the country's energy landscape.
