Gensol Engineering, in partnership with Matrix Gas & Renewables, has secured the bid to develop India's inaugural bio-hydrogen project. The project, with an estimated value of Rs 164 crore, is slated to convert 25 tons of bio-waste into 1 ton of hydrogen daily. This endeavor marks a crucial step towards achieving the objectives set by India's National Green Hydrogen Mission, emphasizing the shift from biomass to green hydrogen generation. Anmol Singh Jaggi, the Chairman and Managing Director of Gensol Engineering Ltd, expressed pride in being awarded the bid and highlighted the companies' commitment to innovation and excellence in renewable energy. The collaboration between Gensol and Matrix, both led by common promoters, aims to explore opportunities in the Green Hydrogen sector and its related fields like Green Steel and Green Ammonia. By leveraging their collective expertise, the consortium is poised to bring about significant contributions to environmental sustainability and India's energy transition.
