KBR, a global leader in ammonia technology, has announced that its blue ammonia technology has been chosen by Shell for the Blue Horizons low-carbon hydrogen and ammonia project in Duqm, Oman. Under the agreement, KBR will provide engineering design for a 3,000 metric tons per day ammonia plant that will utilize hydrogen from Shell's Blue Hydrogen technology.
