Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) has announced the launch of a green hydrogen production unit at its refinery. This 500 tons per annum unit will produce green hydrogen through water electrolysis using renewable energy sources. The green hydrogen will be utilized internally, combined with the existing hydrogen production at the refinery.
