The Odisha government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, has recently approved ten major industrial projects at the 40th High-Level Clearance Authority meeting. These projects, with a cumulative worth of Rs.1,65,303 crore, cover crucial sectors such as steel, aluminium, power generation, green hydrogen, engineering goods, and green energy equipment. The approvals signal a significant milestone in Odisha's industrial landscape, with a focus on job creation and economic development. The projects are estimated to create over 51,939 job opportunities, strategically spread across seven districts in the state. Leading companies like Vedanta, JSW Steel, Shyam Steel Works, and others are set to invest in establishing various facilities, emphasizing sustainable practices in sectors like green hydrogen, green energy, and steel production.
