State-owned Power Finance Corporation's subsidiary, PFC Consulting, has established a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for the development of an electricity transmission system in Mundra, Gujarat. The project undertaken by Mundra I Transmission Ltd aims to provide power support for green hydrogen and ammonia manufacturing. PFCCL will oversee the bid process to select a Transmission Service Provider (TSP) through competitive bidding. The SPV, a wholly owned subsidiary of PFCCL, is dedicated to this transmission scheme. Once the bidding is concluded, the SPV will be handed over to the successful bidder for project execution. This move signifies a positive step towards boosting green energy initiatives and infrastructure within India's energy sector, emphasizing the importance of promoting sustainable practices.
