Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Andhra Pradesh and Odisha on January 8th-9th, 2025. On January 8th, he will dedicate, inaugurate, and lay the foundation stone for projects worth over Rs. 2 Lakh Crore at Visakhapatnam. One of the key projects is the NTPC Green Hydrogen Hub at Pudimadaka, which will be the first under India’s National Green Hydrogen Mission. The Green Hydrogen Hub project, valued at Rs1.85 Lakh Crore, aims to produce green hydrogen and its derivatives, aligning with the country's push towards renewable energy sources. Additionally, PM Modi will also lay the foundation for several infrastructure projects, including the South Coast Railway Headquarters and the Bulk Drug Park at Nakkapalli. Moving to January 9th, the Prime Minister will participate in the 18th Pravasi Bhartiya Divas Convention in Bhubaneswar with the theme “Diaspora’s Contribution to a Viksit Bharat”. He will also launch the Pravasi Bhartiya Express, a special train aiming to facilitate the Indian diaspora's exploration of religious and tourist destinations across India. The visit showcases a strategic focus on infrastructure development, green energy initiatives, and engaging with the Indian diaspora for mutual benefits.
