Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to launch projects worth Rs 2 lakh crore in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, with a focus on sustainable development, industrial growth, and infrastructure enhancement. The projects, part of the government's push for sustainable development, include the NTPC Green Energy Limited Green Hydrogen Hub Project, which will be the first hub under the National Green Hydrogen Mission. This initiative aims to achieve India's target of 500 GW non-fossil energy capacity by 2030. Additionally, projects such as the South Coast Railway headquarters, bulk drug park at Nakkapalli, and the Krishnapatnam Industrial Area in Andhra Pradesh are expected to create jobs and accelerate economic growth. The 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas convention in Bhubaneswar will bring together Indian diaspora members from over 50 countries, highlighting their contributions to a 'Viksit Bharat'. The event will also see the launch of the Pravasi Bharatiya Express, a special tourist train for the Indian diaspora.
