The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) in India is set to organize a two-day 'Chintan Shivir' on 14th and 15th November 2024 in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The event will be inaugurated by Union Minister Shri Pralhad Joshi and will focus on strategies to achieve the target of 500 GW of renewable energy by 2030, with a subsequent goal of 1800 GW by 2047. The Shivir aims to bring together key decision-makers, financial institutions, industrialists, and government officials to brainstorm on crucial issues in the renewable energy sector. Sessions will cover topics ranging from solar and wind manufacturing to energy storage, green hydrogen, bioenergy, and skill development. The event will conclude with a valedictory session discussing key takeaways and future strategies to drive India's energy transition towards sustainability.
