In a significant advancement for India's clean energy sector, Jakson Green has been selected as the Licensing, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (LEPC) partner for a pioneering project in Lara, Chhattisgarh. The project, developed by NETRA, aims to convert flue gas CO2 to 4G ethanol and is set to be operational within two years. It plans to produce 10 tons per day of ethanol while capturing 25 tons per day of CO2 and generating 3 tons per day of Green Hydrogen through a 7.5 MW Electrolyser. The captured CO2 and hydrogen will be transformed into ethanol using advanced microbial fermentation technology. Jakson Green's Joint Managing Director expressed pride in the partnership, emphasizing the project's significance in achieving India's blending targets and enhancing energy security. The initiative not only marks a milestone in clean energy production but also positions Jakson Green as a key player in India's green molecule space with substantial green hydrogen production capacity.
