Welspun Corp has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Saudi Aramco at the ongoing Aramco IKTVA Forum & Exhibition 2025 to establish a state-of-the-art longitudinal submerged arc welded (LSAW) line pipe manufacturing facility in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The new facility, situated in the 3rd Industrial City of Dammam, will boast an annual production capacity of 350,000 MT and is scheduled to begin operations by mid-2026. Welspun Corp, known for its expertise in producing large-diameter line pipes, has been a steadfast partner of Saudi Aramco for close to two decades, contributing to various significant oil and gas pipeline projects within the Kingdom. The upcoming manufacturing facility will be fully equipped to meet the line pipe requirements for Saudi Aramco's present and future endeavors, encompassing the transmission of oil, gas, hydrogen, and carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) initiatives.
