Al Masaood Power Division, a part of Al Masaood Group in Abu Dhabi, is preparing to present new decarbonisation technology in collaboration with global partner Volvo Penta at the Middle East Energy exhibition and conference in Dubai. The event, scheduled from April 7 to 9, serves as a platform for industry professionals to engage with energy providers, explore innovative products, and establish business connections. Al Masaood Power Division will feature Volvo Penta's battery energy storage subsystem and hydrogen dual fuel engine designed for industrial applications at the exhibition. Rasso Bartenschlager, Al Masaood Power Division's General Manager, emphasized the commitment to a greener future through low-emissions solutions. Volvo Penta's hydrogen dual fuel solution, based on the Stage V D8 combustion engine, is highlighted for its ability to run on hydrogen-diesel mix, supporting businesses in the energy transition. Hannes Norrgren, President Industrial at Volvo Penta, underlined the customer-centric approach in their decarbonisation strategy. The event also focuses on key product sectors driving the energy transition like Smart Solutions, Renewable Energy, and Energy Management.
