Trans Global Projects (TGP) has secured a significant contract to provide end-to-end logistics services for a major hydrogen project in the Netherlands. The company has already successfully completed the first series of shipments, which included an oversized cargo transported from Vietnam to the Netherlands. This shipment encompassed a diverse range of items such as skids, modules, construction materials, and boiler components, totaling 2,513 cu m of cargo weighing 546 tonnes. TGP managed the ocean freight and last-mile delivery for these shipments. Currently, a second shipment of oversized cargo is en route from China to the Netherlands, involving a two-port loading process. This shipment consists of 6,690 cu m of cargo, weighing 1,704 tonnes, and comprising 235 items. Over the course of the project, a total of 89,000 cu m of cargo will be transported, including 77 heavy lift and out-of-gauge moves. The largest piece to be transported is a CO2 absorber measuring 65.4 m x 5.8 m x 5.8 m and weighing 390 tonnes. The shipments are scheduled to continue from January 2025 to April 2026, showcasing the scale and complexity of the logistics operations involved in supporting this hydrogen project.
