Getech Group plc, a world-leading locator of subsurface resources, has announced winning two contracts with Kingfisher Energy Corporation to support the exploration of natural hydrogen and helium accumulations in Canada. With a focus on North America, Kingfisher is targeting a previously overlooked exploration fairway in Canada with significant hydrogen and helium potential. Getech will deploy its gravity and magnetics capabilities, geoscience understanding, and AI-driven analytics to analyze the region, identifying potential project areas for both hydrogen and helium. Over the next few months, Getech will conduct a comprehensive data-led analysis using its advanced AI capabilities to map out areas of interest conducive to hydrogen and helium deposits. This collaboration is crucial in accelerating Kingfisher's selection process for prospective areas rich in these resources. The partnership reflects the growing investor interest in natural hydrogen and helium globally, prompting Kingfisher to broaden its exploration strategy. Getech and Kingfisher have also signed a strategic collaboration agreement to extend their working relationship beyond the first quarter of 2025.
