Allengra has launched a cutting-edge hydrogen flow meter equipped with an ultrasonic sensor unit designed specifically for measuring hydrogen and hydrogen blends. This innovative meter not only provides precise data on mass flow and volume but also offers insights into gas composition with an accuracy of +/- 3%. The device includes integrated temperature, humidity, and pressure sensors, which are crucial for ensuring the efficient utilization of hydrogen as a fuel. With an operational pressure range between 0.8 and 15 bar and an operational temperature range spanning from -20 to 85ºC, the flow meter caters to various environmental conditions. The DN15 version covers a flow range from 10 to 1000 liters per minute, while the DN20 version extends this range to 1700 liters per minute. Additionally, the flow meter features different physical connections for the two versions, with DN15 sporting a ¾-inch connector and DN20 having a 1-inch connector, both with an overall length of 173 mm. Moreover, the Allengra hydrogen flow meter enables the transfer of collected data for analysis through CAN bus or Modbus connections.
