The Hydrogen Declaration includes eight key points, such as stimulating demand, setting global standards, and promoting global trade. COP29 President-Designate Mukhtar Babayev emphasizes the vital role of these declarations in driving climate progress by influencing market trends and promoting shared responsibility. Although signing the pledges alone will not bring the necessary changes, they are essential for supporting COP29 Presidency's vision for increased ambition and actionable steps. Notably, last year's COP marked the first inclusion of hydrogen in the climate summit's agenda, showcasing a growing recognition of hydrogen's role in combating climate change.
