Global engineering company Worley has secured an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract for ExxonMobil's Baytown facility in Texas, which will be a significant low-carbon hydrogen and ammonia production site. This project aims to generate one billion cubic feet of low-carbon hydrogen daily and over one million tonnes of low-carbon ammonia annually, alongside capturing and storing seven million tonnes of CO2 yearly, emphasizing environmental responsibility. ADNOC and Mitsubishi have invested in the project, while Air Liquide will boost oxygen and nitrogen production for ExxonMobil through an $850 million investment in four large air separation units.
