Gentari, a clean energy solutions provider, has entered a significant Power Purchase Agreement with its subsidiary to supply 650 MW of carbon-free energy to AM Green Ammonia's green ammonia facilities in India. The agreement involves the development of 2400 MWp of renewable energy capacity, including solar and wind sources, and the integration of 350 MW / 2100 MWh of energy storage systems to provide firm and dispatchable green power. This initiative in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka stands out as a model for future carbon-free energy contracts, following the Renewable Fuels of Non-Biological Origin framework. AM Green Ammonia, targeting a production capacity of 5 million tons per year by 2030, will play a significant role in India's green hydrogen targets. The collaboration between Gentari and AM Green is praised by company representatives for its potential in advancing renewable asset development and supporting India's ambition to become a green energy exporter.
