He called for global collaboration among the scientific community to shape policies that can accelerate progress in the sector. Modi highlighted India's early attainment of its green energy targets under the Paris Agreement, achieved nine years ahead of schedule. He emphasized the significant potential of green hydrogen in reducing carbon emissions across various industries including steel, refineries, fertilizers, and heavy transportation sectors. The Prime Minister also shed light on India's National Green Hydrogen Mission, which is designed to foster innovation, build essential infrastructure, and attract investments in green hydrogen technologies. Union Ministers Hardeep Singh Puri and Pralhad Joshi echoed Modi's sentiments, underlining India's inherent strengths in green hydrogen production and reaffirming the country's commitment to sustainable practices.
