Emirates SkyCargo, based in Dubai, UAE, has announced a significant step towards reducing its carbon footprint by incorporating hydrogen-powered trucks into its trucking fleet. In collaboration with Allied Transport Company, the airline plans to deploy five hydrogen trucks by Q1 2026. These trucks, capable of carrying up to 28 tonnes of cargo, will be refuelled at dedicated hydrogen stations in Dubai, offering a range of up to 700 km on a full tank.
