The MoU aims to promote and support the integration of Australian technologies into local markets, facilitate technology collaboration, and provide expertise and resources for scaling technologies. The Smart Energy Council will assist in supporting the scaling of technologies, connecting Australian companies with Karnataka, and identifying investment opportunities. The Energy Minister of Karnataka highlighted that this collaboration will strengthen ties with Australian companies and open up new investment opportunities in clean energy and green hydrogen initiatives. The MoU is set to remain in effect for three years, with the possibility of extension upon mutual consent.
