The 7th Government – Private Forum on Cleaner Energy Future Initiative for ASEAN (CEFIA) was co-organised by the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) and held in Kobe City, Japan. The Forum aimed to accelerate the development of cleaner energy and decarbonisation technologies in the ASEAN region by fostering collaboration between the public and private sectors. Representatives from 10 ASEAN Member States, private companies, academia, METI, and ACE participated, with additional attendees joining via Zoom Webinar. Hydrogen and ammonia technologies emerged as new flagship projects at the Forum, aligning with the ASEAN Plan of Action for Energy Cooperation (APAEC) 2016-2025.
