Hyundai Motor Co. has partnered with Ulsan metropolitan city in South Korea to cooperate in creating a clean hydrogen ecosystem within the industrial city. The collaboration, outlined in a memorandum of understanding, will focus on developing and implementing hydrogen technology throughout Ulsan. This encompasses areas such as production, transportation, and the adoption of hydrogen-powered mobility solutions like tractors and forklifts. Additionally, plans include the development of hydrogen cargo tractors and pilot vehicle operations on logistics routes originating from Ulsan. Hyundai aims to build a sustainable ecosystem powered by hydrogen energy, as stated by Lee Dong-seock, co-CEO of Hyundai Motor.
