Hyundai Motor has announced a comprehensive partnership with Ulsan City to transform the city into a hydrogen-friendly environment. The collaboration involves the development of a hydrogen ecosystem, focusing on various aspects of the hydrogen value chain. Hyundai Motor and Ulsan City have agreed to work together on technology development, hydrogen supply for clean production through water electrolysis, and the research and development of hydrogen mobility vehicles like tractors and forklifts. Furthermore, they plan to introduce hydrogen tractors for cargo transportation, aiming to create an eco-friendly logistics system based on hydrogen. This initiative aligns with the '3rd Hydrogen City Creation Project' hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, where Ulsan City will lead regional specialization projects in the hydrogen sector.
