The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India, successfully organized the 4th edition of the Global Renewable Energy Investors’ Meet and Expo (RE-INVEST 2024) in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. A key highlight was the CEO Roundtable on ‘Accelerating Green Hydrogen Production through Green Jobs in Gujarat’, showcasing the state's commitment to the National Green Hydrogen Mission. The roundtable, chaired by Shri S J Haider, highlighted Gujarat's strategic initiatives and target to produce 3 million metric tons per annum of Green Hydrogen. Industry leaders and startups discussed critical factors influencing Green Hydrogen pricing and presented innovative ideas for production. Gujarat's focus on renewable energy was emphasized, with plans to reach 100 GW of RE by 2030 and promote round-the-clock power through offshore wind and energy storage projects. The event underscored the importance of collaboration to drive green job creation and meet industry needs, showcasing Gujarat's leadership in clean energy solutions.
